ZenPoint Digital Center 6.0.38 is out

A new version of Digital Center is ready. This release brings Party Games, a new centre with eight games that turn your own music, films and photo booth into a party. The big screen becomes a game show, while the host and the teams play along on their own phones. Radio can now play your own stations, External Programs gets order and categories, and the phone remote has a few happy moments of its own. A few of the highlights:
- Party Games - a new centre on the front page with eight games, all played on your own library: Music Bingo, Guess the Intro, Stop Dance, Guess the Poster, Timeline, Sing On, Photo Mission and Music Quiz. Each game has its own look and colours whatever look the rest of Digital Center wears. Points count up, the winners get a podium, and every game has its own sound effects. You prepare your games in Administration, as many as you like, and play them from the centre. A finished game can be played again. Party Games is part of Home and Professional.
- Music Bingo on your own music - each guest gets a printed plate with song titles, or titles and artists. The songs play without their names, and the guests mark the ones they hear. When someone shouts bingo, the host types the plate's number and Digital Center checks it. The plates can be printed or saved as a PDF, and they can even use the background of your current look.
- Team games with phones - in Guess the Intro the teams hear the first 2, 5 and then 10 seconds of a song. In Guess the Poster a film or album cover starts blurred and gets sharper. In Timeline each team builds a row of songs in the order they were released, and in Music Quiz four answers appear on the screen and on the phones. The teams in Timeline and Music Quiz scan their own code and answer from their phones. The host can run every game from a phone with one host code, so a hired DJ does not need the admin password.
- The game on every screen - while a game is going on, the screensaver and the extra screens show the game itself, with a LIVE band and the game's name. Answers only appear there after the host has shown them.
- Your own radio stations - you can now add stations that are not in the station list, try them before you save them and give each one a picture of your choice. They get their own page in Radio and their own tab on the phone.
There is much more: External Programs can be shown alphabetically with an A-Z bar or sorted into categories, the pages for an artist, genre or decade can open on the covers, and tapping a letter on the A-Z bar briefly shows where it starts. Karaoke applause now lasts longer and comes with the sound of clapping, and a look you no longer use can be deleted. There is also a list of fixes, most importantly that every singer in a queue of karaoke videos now gets applause, that updated texts always appear in every language after an update, and that the phone screen stays on while you use the remote on Android.
If you are planning a party, try Party Games now. Make a game in Administration in a few minutes, and let the guests play on the big screen and their phones.

How to update: open Setup on the front screen, go to Administration and choose Updates. Digital Center then downloads and installs the new version for you, and restarts when it is done.
