Youtube issue
Asked by galegovision on November 4, 2026 - 5 replies
Is anyone else having issue playing Youtube videos? I can't play any videos anymore. Just has the error message try again later. I never setup the firefox login thing. Tried to do it but it just won't import anything from firefox. I then exported the cookie out of firefox and imported that in the advanced section. Still the same error. I have a feeling it is something else. Anyone have any thoughts?

Hi @galegovision,
You're right that it's most likely something else. You don't need the Firefox login or a cookie file for normal YouTube playback. Those are only needed for age-restricted videos, so you can leave that part as it is.
When every video fails, the usual reason is that YouTube has changed something on their side. Digital Center keeps the part that plays YouTube videos up to date by itself, but it only checks for a newer version when Digital Center starts. A screen that runs for days without a restart can therefore miss a fix.
Please try this:
- Close Digital Center completely, or simply restart the PC.
- Make sure the PC is online, and start Digital Center again.
- Wait a minute or two so it can fetch the update, then try a video again.
If it still won't play after that, please let us know which version of Digital Center you are running (you can see it under Administration, then Help, then About), and we'll look into it further.

I did try the reboot, load the app and wait method. Still no luck. I have not tried it today (at work) but I can confirm I'm on the latest version 6.0.37. Thanks

Just wanted to add, I just upgraded to the latest 6.0.38 and still have issues with Youtube videos. Just won't play.
Could someone else please give it a shot so I can see if it is just me or a bigger problem.
Thanks
