How to run v5 and v6 on the same system?

Hi I am having many issues with v6 and would like to run v5 on my system while trying to get v6 sorted. I reinstalled v5 but it now says limited at the top. I have the license and v6 is registered but cannot get v5 out of limited mode. Can this be done?

Hi @JeffH,

Yes, you can run v5 with your existing license. Upgrading to v6 has not used it up, so v5 can still use it on the same computer. Reinstalling v5 just means the license needs to be activated again:

  • Sign in at www.zenpoint.org and go to "My Licenses".
  • Click "Download" on your license and save the file.
  • Open the folder where Digital Center 5 is installed and run Activate.exe.
  • Activate the license file you just downloaded, then start v5 again.

Please note that v5 is no longer being developed. We would really like to get v6 working properly for you, so please tell us what problems you are seeing. A short description of each issue, and which center it happens in, is a great help.
