Turn off "PLAY NEXT" option
Asked by Vince839 on September 22, 2026 - 2 replies
Before I buy this software, which looks really nice, is there a way to disable the "PLAY NEXT" option for sons in the admin options???
I plan to use this for parties at our house, and I do not want people to be able to just jump the line because they feel like it.

Hi @Vince839
Thank you for your kind words about Digital Center!
Yes, you can turn this off. It is actually off by default. When Party Mode is on, guests can only use the controls you allow, and you set these rules separately for each playlist.
To check it:
- Open Settings and go to Playlists.
- Choose the playlist you use for the party.
- Make sure "Available In Party Mode" is on.
- Under the Party Mode rules, leave "Allow Play As Next" off. You may also want to leave "Allow Play Now" off, because that option starts a song straight away.
With these settings, guests can add songs, but the songs go to the back of the queue. This works both on the screen and when guests pick songs from their phones.
A few things to know:
- Only share the admin and party passwords with people you trust. Anyone who logs in with one of them can use all the controls.
- You can try all of this for free with the 7-day trial before you buy.
If you have any other questions, just let us know.

@Vince839 Well worth the money and with 60% discount at the moment it is a no brainer. If you can afford it, buy now and enjoy. I cannot speak highly enough about Zenpoint, I have had a forever license for over ten years now.
I had an email about version 6 which is why I am here and commenting. So much work has gone into this new version, and myself and others upgraded for free, Rick and his team never needed to do that but they did.
I have tried all and I do mean all jukebox software, this is the most polished software out there.
Version 5 was excellent, but not a jukebox. Version 6 and vertical is a real jukebox.
I loved this software when I first saw it (5) but then I did not like it. Version 6 I am back in love again and I have fallen deeply in love with the software. The demo was mind blowing (yes ok it was AI) but so much work went into making that.
I honestly thought that Zenpoint was finished but they are still going strong and releasing new versions and updates.
I cannot remember how much I paid years ago, but if I saw this software in 2026 I would buy it without a shadow of a doubt, yeah sometimes buying software is a gamble, but so is life.
I trust and believe in Zenpoint (Yes not 100% perfect but 99% it is)
If you buy a game from Steam or anywhere else, and you spend £/$60 on a game, they can take that away any time that they want.
Ten years and Zenpoint is still here so that should say something, and trust me. I did not waffle on for no reason. I done it because I believe in the software/Rick and the team.
If it was a rip off, trust me, I would never post something like this. I post using my real name, always have always will do, you can check me out on facebook, youtube and anywhere on the internet, I use my own name, because I am a man of my word.
Regards
Mark
