Improvement Idea : Remove/hide tabs and on screen keyboard

Hi Rick & Team
Saturday morning and just booted up and I have not played around too much so far as I am still on a non touch screen at the moment.
I am clicking on tabs such as artist, song, genre etc and whatever else is at the bottom (vertical mode) and I am thinking that too many artists/songs etc
So it is kind of a hassle scrolling through ton's of listings, even though you have the letters to the right side.
I then clicked on search and I had to use my keyboard to enter in information, when really an on screen keyboard is what is really needed, I am not sure if this happens when you have it on touch mode but having to use a keyboard is a major hassle, especially if you do not want the guests having access to a keyboard.
It would be fantastic if you could hide artist/song etc and then have the search function more focused and enlarged with touch screen keyboard, that way a guest can do the following
Search for an artist, song, genre etc and then it displays that artist or song etc.
At the moment, I only have a small library as I got rid of all my MP3's years ago as I do not really listen to music but I just wanted my boy toy back.
So if you do have a massive library then search is far better than clicking on artists, going to D and then finding Duran Duran as an example.
I know everyone is different and this is just an idea rather than a feature request.
However, on screen keyboard is more of a feature request especially on a touch screen monitor.
I hope you have a lovely weekend
Regards
Mark

Hi @Mark Norville,
Thank you for the kind words and the great feedback. We hope you enjoy the weekend too!
Good news on the keyboard: Digital Center already has a built-in on-screen keyboard. By default it is set to "Automatic", which means it only appears when a touch screen is detected. That is why you are not seeing it on your current monitor. You can turn it on now under Administration → Controls & touch → On-screen keyboard → Always on. Once you connect your touch screen, "Automatic" will show it by itself.
For a search-first experience, you can also make the Search page start empty and ready to type in. Go to Administration → Music → Start search empty. The same setting exists for Karaoke, Music Videos and Movies. If you want fewer ways to browse, you can also hide the "Popular" page there.
Thank you for the idea of a mode where search is the main way in for guests and the browse tabs are hidden. We have added it to our list of ideas.
