Navigations button in Administration
Asked by galegovision on September 15, 2026 - 2 replies
Any chance the navigations arrows/buttons can be implemented in the Administration section? For example, when I'm trying to swipe through the Appearance section, I keep selecting them when trying to scroll. I think it would help those of us that do not have the best touchscreens. Just a "nice to have" feature request.

Hi @galegovision
Thanks for raising this. It turned out to be more than a nice to have, so we went ahead and built it.
The navigation arrows are now in Administration, both in the menu on the left and on the settings pages themselves. They are not limited to Appearance - they work on every page in there. Each tap moves one full screen with a small overlap, so you can still see where you came from, and an arrow hides itself once there is nothing further in that direction.
You were right to point at Appearance in particular. It is the worst place to mis-tap, because a stray tap changes the look of the whole screen straight away.
We also gave the arrows their own switch, under Controls & touch → "List arrows in Administration". It is on by default, so there is nothing you need to do. It sits next to the existing "List arrows" setting, which covers the lists your guests use, so you can hide the arrows in Administration while your guests keep theirs.
This will be in the next update. Thanks for taking the time to report it.
