DataBase Re-Search For New Files

I have a huge music library, 31,589 Music Files. .mp3, 1,070 Artist Folders, 3901 total Folder and Sub Folders for Artist. but in the new version how do i rescan my music library on my hard drive? the Digital Center only shows, 391 Artist and 5893 Songs as you can see i have more music. is there a limitation? how can i rescan my music directory similar to when the software was first installed. i did uninstall your software and reinstall and reapplied the license. i did see it recount the songs. it took about 10 mins. but in the digital center it does not show all songs. i sent a more descriptive email to support.

Your library should have close to 31,500 songs, not 5,893. Here are three things to check, starting with the quickest:
Check whether a theme is turned on
- theme shows only the part of your library that matches its rules, for example certain genres or years. If one is active, everything else is hidden in the Music center.
- Open Setup, select "Themes" and choose "All (no theme)".
- Open Administration and select "Themes". If a theme has a filled star next to it, it is the default theme. Tap the star to turn it off.
- Open Administration, select "Playlists" and open the playlist you use. Set "Theme" to "No theme (the center keeps its own)".
Check which folder Digital Center reads from
- Open Administration and select "Music".
- Look at "Music folders". It must show the top music folder on your USB drive, the one that holds all 1,070 artist folders, with the drive letter Windows shows for the drive today.
- If it shows a sub-folder or a different drive letter, click "Add path", select the correct folder, and remove the old entry.
- Digital Center starts reading the folder right away. With 30,000 songs this can take about 10 minutes. You will see "Scanning…" in the top-right corner while it runs.
ZenPoint Media Manager uses the same folder list, so this also fixes it there.
Check whether the missing folders are hidden
Digital Center and Media Manager skip folders that Windows has marked as hidden. In File Explorer, right-click one of the Aerosmith album folders that is missing, choose Properties, and look at the "Hidden" box on the General tab. If it is ticked, untick it, click Apply, and choose to apply the change to all subfolders and files. Then close Digital Center and Media Manager, wait about a minute, and start Digital Center again.

- A photo or screenshot of the "Music folders" list in Administration.
- The full folder location of one missing Aerosmith album, for example E:\Music\Aerosmith\Pump.
- How many songs Media Manager shows on its Music tab.

Rick,
The ANSWER was the Themes, I set to a No Rules Theme. This Allowed all Music to show. I guess i wanted the 80s Theme but did not know it segregated the music for 80s only. now i simply enabled my 80s play list.
