Track Fading

Hi,

Thanks so much for the new version/updates!!

I have an issue where the song cross-fading doesn't appear to be working. I've tried disabling & re-enabling in settings but still not working, either during normal play or when skipping to next track.

Also, would be really great if the fading time was adjustable (like Apple music which is 1-12secs)

Hi @John B,

Thank you for the kind words, and for reporting this. You're right: the fade between tracks is currently so short that you can hardly hear it. And when a song plays to its end, the next one only starts after it has fully finished, so there is nothing to blend.

Your settings are fine. This is simply how the fade works today, not a problem on your machine.

We're going to rework it into a proper crossfade, where the next song starts before the current one ends. We'll also add an adjustable fade length, much like the one you describe. We'll let you know here when it arrives in an update.
