Movie library as a cover wall with posters and details filled in automatically.

The Movies center shows your movie library as a beautiful cover wall. Choose audio tracks and subtitles, skip ±10 seconds, and resume playback exactly where you left off. In the background, Digital Center automatically enriches your movies: based on the filename, it fetches title, year, director, genre, description and items online.

Included in: Professional with your own library. Room plays the films another machine shares.

Your films as a cover wall

Browse via Movies, Genres or Years, or search for a specific film. Open a film and you get its items together with the plot and description, so you can decide what to watch without leaving the screen. The cover wall uses the same browse effects as the rest of the home screen, and it works with mouse, touch, keyboard or a controller.

Subtitles, audio tracks and resume

During playback you choose the audio track and the subtitles, skip 10 seconds back and forward, and pause. With Resume playback switched on, every film starts exactly where you last left it - and a Restart button is offered for the first minute in case you would rather begin again.

ZenPoint Media Manager

Posters and details, found for you

The Films tab of the included ZenPoint Media Manager fills in what your film files do not carry themselves. Press Find online, pick the right items from the list, and title, year, director, genre and description are filled in along with the items - for one film or for a whole batch at once.

  • Find online gives you a list of posters - pick one and every detail is filled in
  • Edit many films at once; a field that differs shows a "Keep" marker until you change it
  • Clean up messy titles and genres in bulk, with capitalisation rules you choose
  • Rename the files from the details - or read the details back out of the file names

Frequently asked questions

Where do the posters and descriptions come from?

Digital Center enriches your films in the background: from the file name it looks up title, year, director, genre, description and items online. If a film ends up with the wrong match, you can correct it yourself in ZenPoint Media Manager.

Does it remember where I stopped?

Yes. With Resume playback switched on, a film starts exactly where you left it, and for the first minute you are offered a Restart button in case you want to begin from the top.

Can I choose subtitles and audio track?

Yes. Both are chosen during playback, along with skipping 10 seconds back and forward.

How do my films get into the Movies center?

You point the Movies center at the folders where your films already live - on the PC or a network drive - and it builds the library itself, with posters and details. Nothing is copied or imported, and new films you drop into a watched folder appear on their own.

Can I fix several films at once?

Yes. In ZenPoint Media Manager you can edit a whole selection at once, clean up messy titles and genres in bulk, and rename the files from the details - or read the details back out of the file names.

Which video files does the Movies center play?

It plays the common film formats: MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, WMV, WEBM, M4V, FLV, MPG, MPEG, TS, M2TS, VOB and OGV.
