How do I use dual monitor support in MusicCenter?

[ Back ] [ Reply ] [ Log On ]

I built a custom jukebox system to use for parties at my house and I downloaded the demo version of Music center to make sure its what I wanted for the software. At my first party the system was a huge hit but I was not able to get the dual monitor setup to do what I wanted it to do, which was show the "Now playing" screen on one monitor and have the interface on the second, touchscreen monitor, at all times. It's my first experience with 2 monitors on a single computer so Im sure it might be a combination of Windows settings and Media Center settings I need to tweek, but Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction on how to get what Im looking for. I will purchase the full version as soon as I know this issue Im having can be overcome, because otherwise the system is spot-on perfect for my needs.

Hi Robbertknight
I'm running the DigitalCenter on multi monitors with no problems. Your multi monitors has to be extended and NOT duplicate.
Next go into the administration and thoose your secondary monitor, and close the administration.
That's it, that was all I did to get it to work.

So what does the dual support accomplish? What do you have showing on each monitor, and is it fixed or can you customize whats on each screen?
Thanks for the help btw.

On the secondary monitor the digital center shows the "Playing now" screen, this is fixed.
We are using the digital center in our golf center. Behind the desc we have a touch screen for our staff to navigate and play the music, and in our hall we have a 48" monitor which shows the "Playing now" for our members.
