I agree with you, I used Silverjuke for several years and the database is lightning fast. Kioskmode is nicely implemented and support of two soundcards is also great, especially when prelistening to music with headphones before playing.
Anyway, ZenPoint beats Silverjuke when using touchscreen and the way to create playlists. Playlists is totally hopeless in Silverjuke. I just purchased ZenPoint and I can now see my family members love the playful and easy layout. For sure there are things that can be improved and we can always help to point in the right direction.
PS : Also take a look at Albumplayer ( www.albumplayer.com ). Has a nice interface and a good way to rate each song.
