I really have to congratulate you to the most impressive jukebox/media player I've seen so far. It's really amazing and the gui is a dream.

I'm running in trial mode at the moment but will most probably buy within a few days.

Only one thing worries me. I have a big collection of songs ( already nicely tagged and with jpg album covers in each album folder ). There's approx. 40K mp3 files and 10K photos on my NAS.

Everytime I start ZenPoint, the wholde database starts to rebuild and takes 1,5 hrs. Not very useful !
I did download the zipped dll files you've already posted on another thread, however it doesn't help.

Until you've fixed this tremendous time lag, is there a way to deactivate the automatic database update running every time the software starts ? 
( Why don't you make a manual update function instead and let the user decide when to update the database ? )

I really want this software as it's sooo beautiful but I hope there will be some improvements in the database performance.

Hi,

go to Administration/General/ and deactivate "Check for music updates on startup". For manual updates go into DigitalCenter/Home/Options/Reset Music
or so. I use the german version and my english isn't good;-)

Still have a problem as soon I start the photo viewer. ZenPoint hangs once I enter the photo section. Maybe it's due to the photos being located on a
NAS and threre's about 10k photos in original size ( All Jpeg )
