I have a fairly large music collection, and I aslo like to listen to full albums. In order to play a full album w/ the current setup, I have to lookup the album in the "Album" view. This can easily become exhausting - for instance, yesterday I attempted to load the entire album for Bob Marley "Legend". Since the Album view only shows 12 ablum covers at a time, I hit the "B" letter (for "Bob"), and I had to click to navigate to the right button 16 times before I found my album.
I've used other jukebox software, and I've learned the average user, when navigating a large collection like mine, would rather click on the "Artist" lookup, select the desired artist from the list, then have the ability to select one of their albums...... as it stands in MusicCenter, the Arist lookup provides all the songs for that artist (in alphabetical order) - which, IMO, isn't very user-friendly when you have over 10 albums in your collection for that artist. As it stands today, no one using my jukebox uses the Artist lookup, and complains that the "Album" lookup is annoying due to the length of time needed to find your desired song.
Does anyone else agree that the ability to reach albums after an Artist lookup would be very helpful? Thanks, Zenpoint, for considering my request.
