I cannot catalog or play wav files with Music Center. Much of my collection is in wav format. Are there future plans to support the wav file format? Meanwhile, are there any plugins that I can add to play wav files?

Music Center does not support Wav files.

 

Why not convert your wav files to FLAC - it's a lossless format so you won't lose any of the sound quality, and you'll save a whole load of space file wise.

Just a suggestion.

Just select all your songs together while you are in Itunes, right click and select create MP3 version. I suggest doing this overnight pending on the amount of songs you have to wait on. When they finish then you can delete your wav files and the music center will now be able to import your music files

Not sure where iTunes comes into this!

FLAC works great though.
